He focuses on extracting the critical factor that has formed a Japanese history/spirit/culture. “The sense of perceiving the invisible atmosphere,” and to unravel the essence of the human mind in modern society through the relationship with sound and visual. We can no longer verify the truth, but the clan's mystery inspired him deepen the knowledge of Japanese (also World) history. He had played in a local punk rock band and moved to Tokyo at 18, where he continued his exploration of avant-garde/experimental music in the '00s, also the history, shamanism and culture. After obtaining a technical certificate in the clothing industry in 2014, he decided to continue his education at the Cheikh Anta Diop Institute of Fine Arts in Nkolbisson (ISBAC) in Yaoundé, where he studied styling and modeling. A year later, he interrupted his studies to join the Institute of Fine Arts at the University of Douala (IBA) - the economic capital of Cameroon, known for its diverse artistic and cultural activities. After three years of study and research, he obtained a diploma in Art History and Plastic Arts in 2020. Today, in his professional career, he develops his artistic language through charcoal, acrylic, collage, and watercolor on canvas, presenting the female body as an object of reification, which in some cases is perceived as a body of pleasure, a productive body, or a matrix body. Mendo'o showcases his works at fairs, national collective exhibitions, such as the CIBA (International Conference on Fine Arts) in Nkongsamba in 2019, RestArt, and in residencies, such as:

- Art-kéo workshops (founded by Jean-Jacques Kante)

- Louis Epée workshops, and many others. His work focuses on reification, which refers to the process whereby relations between people take on the character of things. He specifically explores the conceptualization of the image of women as a depersonalized construct through the media and social networks, where women's status oscillates between subject and object.

RAWIA GHANDOUR ZANTOUT

Rawia Ghandour Zantout's story is a testament to the power of passion and determination. Despite her father's objection to pursuing an artistic degree, Rawia never lost her love for the arts. While studying business and finance at the International University of Monaco, she also attended several art courses and eventually became a self-taught artist.

Rawia's work is heavily inspired by the Impressionist painters who lived and worked in the south of France, where she also studied. She is particularly drawn to the magical reflections present in nature and captures them beautifully in her art.

Rawia's career began with creating art for children. She founded the "Mishmash Kids Club," which taught children painting and the skills necessary for pursuing a career in the arts. Her art soon gained recognition, and she was commissioned to create a range of paintings for Bank Med, with a focus on ecological themes present in her homeland, Lebanon. Her works were distributed to thousands of bank customers as lithographs.

In 2007, Rawia delved into the political side of art, inspired by the turmoil in her country. She created a painting that crystallized the March 14 Revolution in Martyrs Square, which now hangs in the ex-prime minister's office of Saad Hariri.

Rawia's love for fine arts has led her to create her own world and style, characterized by the use of many paint layers to give her paintings a textured 3D effect. She has been commissioned to paint several portraits of world and Lebanese leaders for official sites, including President Vladimir Putin, Ex-President Michel Aoun, Troels Povlsen, FPM Saad Hariri, and FPM Fouad Seniora, which are displayed in various places.

Rawia has participated in many exhibitions in Lebanon and abroad and has received several awards. Her recent exhibitions include a collective exhibition at les Plumes Gallery, Beirut, and a collective exhibition at Sursok Museum, Beirut. She was also selected as a finalist for the Global Art Award in Dubai in 2018.

Nevertheless, her art continues to inspire and delight audiences around the world.

LIZZIE ANA

In the heart of Maputo, amidst the vibrant tapestry of Mozambican life, there exists a painter whose brushstrokes dance with the spirit of her homeland. Lizzie Ana, a contemporary artist, doesn't merely paint scenes; she captures the very essence of Mozambique—the magic sung by Bob Dylan and whispered by the winds over the land of the Makhuwa and Makonde, and "the friendly people”. Born and bred in this land of enchantment, Lizzie Ana's canvases are a celebration of the rich tapestry of Mozambican life. With each stroke of her brush, she pays homage to the ordinary people engaged in extraordinary moments, immortalising their joys and struggles on the canvas of time. Her art is more than mere representation; it's Arte Daqui, a testament to the soul of Mozambique. In her cityscapes, Lizzie Ana unveils the symphony of diversity that thrives within Maputo's streets. With contemporary visual prowess, she weaves a narrative where the echoes of the past collide with the rhythms of the present. The architectural marvels of Pancho Guedes stand tall, adorned with the Afro-Latin vibe that pulses through the city's veins. Portuguese colonial buildings stand as silent witnesses to the passage of time, while modern structures rise defiantly, heralding a new era of independence and progress. Maputo, a city scarred by wars and economic turmoil, finds redemption in Lizzie Ana's art. Through her brush, the city emerges as a youthful adolescent, brimming with energy and vitality. Each painting is a testament to resilience, where the dichotomy of old and new coexists in a delicate balance. It's a journey through time, where familiar landmarks mingle with the promise of new horizons, inviting the viewer to embark on a voyage of discovery. As you gaze upon Lizzie Ana's creations, you can't help but feel the heartbeat of Maputo pulsating beneath the layers of paint. It's a city reborn, where the past whispers secrets to the future, and every brushstroke is a testament to the enduring spirit of Mozambique. In the hands of this visionary artist, the collision of old and new becomes a symphony of colours—a love letter to a city that refuses to be defined by its scars but instead embraces the beauty of its resilience.

Lizzie Ana's journey into the realm of art was not just a career choice; it was a calling—an unwavering commitment to live the artist's life, to breathe in the colours of existence and exhale them onto canvas. From the tender age when dreams were spun like silk threads in the warm Mozambican breeze, she knew her path lay in the world of creation.

For Lizzie Ana, being an artist is more than a profession; it's a testament to the courage of the human spirit. She admires all those who dare to dance with the muse, for she knows that true art is born from the depths of experience, from the highs of joy to the lows of sorrow. It's a life she has chosen, a life of Arte Daqui, where every brushstroke is a reflection of the soul of Mozambique.Self-taught and unbound by the constraints of formal education, Lizzie Ana's art is a testament to the power of freedom and independence. Her paintings, like mirrors reflecting the myriad hues of life, are imbued with a distinctive style that is uniquely her own. Each stroke of her brush is a declaration of defiance against conformity, a celebration of the boundless potential of the human spirit. In her paintings, Lizzie Ana embraces the chaos of non-structured freedom, allowing her imagination to roam unfettered across the canvas. It's a journey of self-discovery, where every stroke is a step closer to unlocking the mysteries of existence. And through it all, she remains steadfast in her commitment to living the artist's life—a life of passion, purpose, and unbridled creativity. In the realm of visual arts, Lizzie Ana's canvas becomes a portal to worlds both familiar and fantastical. With a palette of vibrant oil colours at her fingertips, she conjures scenes that stir the soul and ignite the imagination. Seascapes unfurl before the viewer like pages from a dream, where the azure expanse of the ocean meets the sky in a dance of eternal romance. Dhow boats glide gracefully across the canvas, their billowing sails a testament to the timeless rhythm of life on the water. But it's not just the beauty of the sea that captivates; it's the reflections that dance upon its surface, delicately painted with a touch that borders on the ethereal. In Lizzie Ana's seascapes, the line between reality and reverie blurs, inviting the viewer to lose themselves in the ebb and flow of the tide. Cityscapes emerge from the chaos of urban life, their streets teeming with stories waiting to be told. With a contemporary realism that borders on the sublime, Lizzie Ana captures the pulse of the city—the clash of old and new, tradition and innovation. Bold lines etch themselves onto the canvas, creating a visual cacophony that demands attention. Yet amid the chaos, there is a sense of harmony—a recognition that even in the most frenetic of landscapes, beauty can be found in the juxtaposition of opposites. In every stroke of her brush, Lizzie Ana defies convention and invites the viewer to see the world through new eyes. Her art is a testament to the power of imagination, a celebration of the beauty that surrounds us, and a reminder that even in the chaos of life, there is always room for wonder and awe.

OLGA STACHWIUK

Femme Fatale - a woman, bringing doom to men. This is the definition given in the dictionary. For me, she became the benchmark of my artistic path. She 'hunted' me from the beginning and stayed with me forever.

It started very innocently. Ever since I was a child I dreamt of becoming an artist. Whatever that meant to me at the time. I was fascinated by people - artists. They were different. It was as if they lived in a parallel world that only a few could get into. I started at music school as a child and got into an elite art school. When I turned sixteen, I was determined to pursue my career at the theatre academy. I got in and this is where I first met Femme Fatale. In theatrical language, it was called Female vamp and is a term for the amplua of actresses, a characterisation of the roles for which an actress will be groomed. This was also the case. Engagements in theatres, cinema, as a Femme fatale I had to stop because I simply got married and had to move to another country. Starting from scratch. Unfamiliarity with the language prevented me from returning to the stage, then I returned to music. I composed jingles for the radio at first, but as I progressed in the language, I started writing lyrics about Femme fatale and then singing them. A band was found, a manager. The concerts and performances began. In the meantime, I discovered the camera as a source of my vision, which made me start thinking seriously about getting into a second art degree. That's how I ended up at the Film School to study photography. I knew immediately what I wanted. The femme fatale was back in the picture. Now I was able to capture her on camera, in various forms.

After my studies, I organised the project 'Woman with Class'. It became a kind of photo therapy for many women. It became a cult. Using my experience as an actress, I helped women impersonate Femme fatale. The themes of each session were different - from Bond girl to runaway bride. The sessions get noticed. In the meantime, I get offers to work with celebrities, fashion designers. I open my modelling school. I teach models to walk the catwalk and pose for shoots. The moment I want to publish my photos in any magazine, I face a wall.

"Have you been published before?" - " No, but..." - " Sorry, but it is not possible..." This is how I came up with the idea of creating my own international photography magazine "ASF". I made my own competition platform for talented photographers. Thanks to the magazine, not one name has made it into the big world of visual artists. I am very proud of this.  The material of my femme fatale was accumulating more and more and I started to think about the fact that I wish I could transfer this to canvas. Can't I because I've never painted? Maybe it's worth trying? That's what happened. The first painting was created in 2020. My Femme fatale is born in my studio every day. Witches, muses, mermaids, goddesses, nymphs will stay with me forever.

LUCYANNE TERNI

I was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1968. I Attended "Escola Panamericana de Arts'' (SP-Brazil) and went to "University Anhembi-Morumbi'', and completed the course of Fashion Designer.

Despite my passion for art, I only started painting in 2016. Since then I've been experimenting for several years with combinations of colors, different layers, and thousands of strokes. My paintings reflect my love of bright colors, different texture techniques, and my love for geometrics, lines and designs.

Art is a long and exciting journey! Everyday I'm learning!

With my paintings, I want to give people a piece of beauty, dreams and happiness!

RIKKE DARLING
Visual artist born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1975.

Rikke Darling is a Danish painter whose art entails a ‘confidence in the power of abstraction’. She has exhibited in Japan, Indonesia, Argentina, the United States and many countries in Europe. Her works are a visual narrative of how humans are part of a complex universal pattern, where surroundings merge with emotion and energy. Darling creates using the ‘flow of nature’, representing elemental forces in her acrylic on canvas compositions.

In her art Rikke Darling seeks for the unknown mysteries in life, considering all life forms as basically the same and coming from the same ground material. By her fluid expression she is looking for the principle of balance in nature and life generally.

« The macrocosm is reflected by the microcosm, structures outside relate to structures inside. Life forms consist of structures that life itself is structuring. Life is a process, so is art. It’s all about life. » - Rikke Darling

KHALID  ACHTAR

For a quarter of a century, I navigated the corridors of power with steadfast determination, ascending from a fledgling officer to a commanding presence within a government department. Yet, the trajectory of my ambitions took unforeseen paths, leading me through the disciplined structures of semi-government entities, the pulse-quickening realms of intelligence operations, and the expansive global stage of an international corporation, where I helmed the position of Group CEO for a remarkable 13 years. However, amid this journey, a different source of power emerged within me - the power of creation. No longer confined to issuing directives, my brush now gracefully traverses canvases, giving life to the profound depths of my being. Fuelled by an unwavering passion for art, I find myself unveiling vulnerabilities and emotions with fearless strokes. This is not a mere act of painting; it is a visceral conversation, an audacious invitation for others to feel and resonate with my innermost self. My existence, akin to a rich tapestry, interweaves leadership, diverse experiences, and an unrelenting drive to create. The culmination of this journey manifests in art that serves as a mirror to my soul. Each stroke conveys a narrative of vulnerability, strength, and an earnest yearning to forge connections on a deeply emotional plane. This is my essence now – an artist baring my truths to the world, aspiring to kindle shared emotions and instigate profound conversations.
