Rikke Darling is a Danish painter whose art entails a ‘confidence in the power of abstraction’. She has exhibited in Japan, Indonesia, Argentina, the United States and many countries in Europe. Her works are a visual narrative of how humans are part of a complex universal pattern, where surroundings merge with emotion and energy. Darling creates using the ‘flow of nature’, representing elemental forces in her acrylic on canvas compositions.

In her art Rikke Darling seeks for the unknown mysteries in life, considering all life forms as basically the same and coming from the same ground material. By her fluid expression she is looking for the principle of balance in nature and life generally.
